We're pretty proud of our toothpaste sample tubes: they're made from recycled aluminium, they're 100% recyclable, and thanks to the smart nozzle, they're also easy to reseal.

How to use your sample tube
1. Snap: gently snap off the nozzle at the tip of your sample tube
2. Squeeze: dispense a pea-sized amount onto your brush and enjoy your first taste of the next generation of toothpaste
3. Seal: flip the nozzle upside down, then push the thin end into the opening to seal until you're ready to use it again
Why our toothpaste tubes are different

The texture is smooth
Most big brand toothpastes are packed with fillers and artificial thickeners to give them a dense consistency that ‘stands up’ on your toothbrush.
We’re less about filler and more about function, so we’ve intentionally designed our formula without these excessive binders.
This means our toothpaste stays fluid enough to pump smoothly out of our refillable bottle and spread effortlessly over your teeth, yet still provides a thorough clean.
By avoiding bulk-adding thickeners, our paste is gentler on your enamel, easier to rinse from your sink, and doesn’t leave a chalky residue in your mouth (like lots of supermarket alternatives).
Tip: because our toothpaste is smoother than most, we’d recommend wetting your toothbrush with water before you apply any paste onto it, not after.

The paste isn’t white
White toothpaste is so common that it almost feels natural. But it’s not.
Traditional toothpastes are only white thanks to synthetic dyes, the most common of which is titanium dioxide. Titanium dioxide is also used to give colour to most white paints.
We don’t use titanium dioxide (or any synthetic dyes) in our toothpaste, for two main reasons:
1. Other than dyeing it white, titanium dioxide doesn’t have any function in toothpaste
2. According to the European Food Safety Authority, there is no safe level for daily human intake of titanium dioxide
We’d rather not put a chemical like titanium dioxide it into our mouth unnecessarily, so we don’t put it in our toothpaste.

They're the last tubes you'll ever use
Whilst we're pretty proud of them, our sample tubes were actually designed to be the last toothpaste tubes you'll ever use. Try a sample pack today, then upgrade to our refillable bottle and zero-waste refills.
